Seeing Is Believing: Women Direct is a multiple award-winning documentary film that emphasizes the opportunity for women to use their voice through media to change the social and political landscape and achieve full equality. Focusing on inspiring and uplifting young female storytellers through the mentorship and leadership of four diverse directors, Seeing Is Believing: Women Direct opens the conversation up to ask "What is the broader role of storytelling in our society and how can women of all racial and gender identifications use filmed media as a unique opportunity to catalyze progress?"

Starring Lesli Linka Glatter (EP/Director: Homeland), Sarah Gavron (Director:Suffragette, Rocks), Li Lu (Director: There is a New World Somewhere, A Town Called Victoria) and Naima Ramos-Chapman (Director: HBO's Random Acts of Flyness); the film is additionally bolstered by important insights from Lizzie Borden, Bethany Rooney, John Wells, Michael Rauch, Robert Munic, Betty Thomas, Joanna Kerns, Kimberly Peirce and more... to show how collaboration, rather than oppression, can incentivize all genders to connect across our shared human experience.

The film is in the collections of The University of Miami, Exeter University, The University of San Diego, Philip Exeter University, The University of Delaware, The University of Michigan, Pennsylvania State University, Temple University, Minnesota State University, Loyola Marymount University, the St Louis Public Library, the New York Public Library, the Anchorage Public Library and more.

Group screenings have included Women in Film Los Angeles, Pepperdine University, Webster University, Los Angeles City College, Johnson County Community College, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) - School of Tech and Animation, Hahn Loesser Law Firm, the Oxford Film Festival and more.

It was picked up for further distribution by an APT (American Public Television) awarded grant and sold to eight regional PBS stations in 2020 including Connecticut PBS;  KPBS, San Diego CA;  KQED, San Francisco CA;  KUEN, Salt Lake City UT; Maryland PBS; North Carolina PBS;  WHUT, Washington DC [Howard University station] and  WILL Illinois Public Media, Urbana IL.  It can also be seen on KVCR, Riverside and San Bernardino County, CA.
